Structure and working principle of pneumatic floating ball valve

There are many kinds of ball valves. Of course, the ball valves manufactured by each manufacturer are also different. But in fact, most of the ball valves evolved from plug valves. Different from the 90 degree rotation of the plug valve, the plug body is a sphere with a circular through hole or flow channel passing through its axis. Its working principle is to open or close the valve by rotating the valve core.

DBV VALVE can produce this kind of pneumatic ball valve, has the advantages of light weight, small volume, large diameter, reliable sealing, simple structure and convenient maintenance. The sealing surface and spherical surface are often in a closed state and are not easy to be corroded by media. They have been widely used in many industries. Pneumatic ball valve and plug valve are the same type of valve. Only the closing part is a sphere. The sphere rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close the valve. Pneumatic ball valve is mainly used for pipeline, cutting speed, distribution and changing medium flow direction.

What is the structure?

*The float of floating pneumatic ball valve always floats on the water. When the water surface rises, the float also rises. When the drift rises, the connecting rod also rises. The connecting rod is connected with the valve at the other end. When it rises to a certain position, the connecting rod supports the rubber piston pad to close the water source. When the water level drops, the float also drops, and the connecting rod drives the piston pad to open. The float valve regulates the liquid supply by controlling the liquid level. Full liquid evaporator requires the liquid level to maintain a certain height, and it is generally suitable to use floating ball expansion valve.

**The ball of pneumatic ball valve is fixed and does not move after being pressurized. Trunnion ball valves are equipped with floating valve seats. After being subjected to medium pressure, the valve seats move, so that the seal is pressed on the ball to ensure sealing. Usually, bearings are installed on the upper and lower shafts with the ball, with small torque. It is suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves.
