Product Description

As global demand for LNG, industrial gases, hydrogen, and other low-temperature applications continues to grow, the importance of reliable cryogenic valve performance has never been greater.

To further strengthen quality assurance capabilities, DBVValve has commissioned a newly built in-house cryogenic testing facility in 2026. The facility enables cryogenic valves to undergo performance verification immediately after production, ensuring every valve is tested before delivery.

This investment significantly enhances manufacturing quality control by integrating production, inspection, and cryogenic testing within a single facility.

Facility Features

Comprehensive Cryogenic Testing Capability

The testing system is designed to simulate extreme low-temperature operating environments encountered in LNG, industrial gas, and cryogenic process systems.

Production-to-Test Integration

Cryogenic valves can move directly from manufacturing to testing without relying on external laboratories, improving efficiency and traceability.

Enhanced Quality Assurance

Every tested valve undergoes rigorous performance verification before shipment, helping ensure consistent product quality.

Faster Response and Improvement Cycles

Internal testing capabilities enable engineering teams to quickly analyze results and optimize manufacturing processes.

Testing Scope

The facility supports testing and verification of:

  • Cryogenic Ball Valves
  • Cryogenic Butterfly Valves
  • Cryogenic Gate Valves
  • Cryogenic Globe Valves
  • Cryogenic Check Valves
  • Custom Cryogenic Valve Solutions

Testing Items

Low-Temperature Functional Testing

Verification of valve operation under cryogenic conditions.

Seat Leakage Testing

Assessment of sealing performance at low temperatures.

Stem Seal Verification

Confirmation of stem packing integrity during cryogenic service.

Helium Leakage Testing

Detection of micro-leakage for critical applications requiring enhanced sealing performance.

Structural Stability Evaluation

Verification of valve body and component integrity under extreme temperature changes.

Applicable Standards

Testing can be performed in accordance with:

  • BS 6364
  • API 598
  • API 6D
  • ISO 28921
  • MSS SP-134
  • Customer-Specified Requirements

Applications

The facility supports valves used in:

  • LNG Terminals
  • LNG Storage Tanks
  • Natural Gas Liquefaction Plants
  • Industrial Gas Systems
  • Hydrogen Projects
  • Petrochemical Facilities
  • Low-Temperature Energy Infrastructure

Why Cryogenic Testing Matters

Cryogenic valves operate in environments where temperatures can fall to extremely low levels. Material contraction, sealing performance, and operational reliability can all be affected under these conditions.

Testing valves before shipment helps ensure that products perform as intended when deployed in critical applications where safety and reliability are essential.

By validating performance before delivery, operators gain greater confidence in system integrity and long-term operational stability.
